Ohio Hospital CEO Announced

Cleveland-based University Hospitals has announced James Benedict, Jr., as president of its Ahuja Medical Center in Beachwood, Ohio, which is currently under construction, according to a report by the Plain Dealer.

Mr. Benedict has 20 years’ experience in the healthcare industry. He joined UH in 2004, serving as general manager of operations at UH Case Medical Center. Prior to that, he served as vice president of medical operations at MetroHealth Systems and at Cleveland Clinic in various leadership roles.

Ahuja Medical Center is scheduled to open in 2011.
