Oaklawn Hospital selects Gregg Beeg as CEO: 5 things to know

Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall, Mich., has named Gregg Beeg president and CEO, effective May 1.

Five things to know:

1. Mr. Beeg has served as interim president and CEO of the hospital since August 2018, when he replaced Ginger Williams, MD, who resigned.

2. Prior to that, he was CFO of the hospital.

3. He has experience serving as vice president of finance and operations at Central Michigan Community Hospital, now known as McLaren Central Michigan in Mount Pleasant.

4. Mr. Beeg is a fellow of both the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.

5. He earned his MBA from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti.
