Oaklawn Hospital CEO Dr. Ginger Williams to depart in August: 5 notes

Ginger Williams, MD, president and CEO of Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall, Mich., is resigning Aug. 3, according to a Battle Creek Enquirer report.

1. Hospital officials did not disclose the reason for Dr. Williams’ departure.

2. Dr. Williams became CEO of Oaklawn Hospital five and a half years ago.

3. She has worked at the hospital for 10-plus years, initially providing care as an emergency department position.

4. She has also served as CMO of the hospital.

5. Gregg Beeg, Oaklawn’s CFO, will take over as interim president and CEO, while the board of directors searches for her successor.
