Prior to his appointment, Mr. Rocha was the CEO of Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg, Texas. While there, he was able to successfully secure over $160 million in federal and state funding to help the hospital transition from a general acute care hospital into a comprehensive medical and teaching center. He also served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for nearly 10 years.
