“It is hard to imagine how we would have navigated the complex and changing healthcare environment without Mark’s steady hand,” said Lynn Coyne, chairman of the BloomingtonHospital board of directors. “Our hospital, our community and our region are a far better place because of his integrity, courage and his caring.”

Mr. Moore will be succeeded by Matthew Bailey, the current COO of the health system.

Prior to his tenure as COO, Mr. Bailey maintained a variety of senior management positions in community-based hospitals, most notably as president of IU Health West Hospital in Avon, Ind. He also served as president and CEO of Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Ind.
