Novant Health appoints Angela Yochem chief digital officer: 4 points

Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health hired Angela Yochem to serve as chief digital officer, effective January 2018.

1. Ms. Yochem most recently served as executive vice president of digital channels and CIO at Rent-A-Center.

2. She has previously served as global CIO at BDP International, a privately held, non-asset-based logistics company as well as the first global chief technology officer for AstraZeneca.

3. She currently serves in numerous advisory roles, including as the independent director of Rocana, an advanced analytics software firm recently acquired by Splunk.

4. In her new role at Novant Health, Ms. Yochem will establish strategies to further patient engagement via technology and lead the implementation of digital media solutions.
