Mark Crawford, CEO of Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, has resigned, according to a statement published by MyHighPlains.com.

1. Mr. Crawford is leaving “in pursuit of new opportunities,” the report notes.

2. He served in the role for the past four years.

3. Stan Tatum will take over as interim CEO.

4. Most recently, Mr. Tatum served as CEO of St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, Okla.

5. He has more than 30 years of healthcare leadership experience.
