Northern Inyo Healthcare District names new COO: 3 things to know

The Northern Inyo Healthcare District has named Kelli Huntsinger COO, according to a news release published by Sierra Wave Media.

The district includes 25-bed Northern Inyo Hospital in Bishop, Calif., as well as a 24-hour emergency department, a primary care rural health clinic, a diagnostic imaging center, and clinics specializing in women's health, orthopedics and neurology, pediatrics and allergies and general surgery.

Here are three things to know about Ms. Huntsinger.

1. She is slated to begin her new role by the end of April.

2. Ms. Huntsinger has been serving as the district's chief compliance officer.

3, She is currently pursuing her master's degree in business administration with a healthcare management focus. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration with a healthcare management and human resources focus, as well as certifications in healthcare compliance, privacy and security compliance and healthcare ethics.
