Northern Hospital of Surry County Interim CEO Out After 3 Days

E. Timothy Cook left his position as interim CEO of Northern Hospital of Surry County in Mount Airy, N.C., after just three days in the position, according to a Mount Airy News report.

Bill Woltz, chairman of the hospital’s Board of Trustees, said in the report Mr. Cook’s appointment “wasn’t a good fit for us in Mount Airy.”

Mr. Cook had taken over duties for Bill James, who left to become president of Wake Forest Baptist Health-Lexington (N.C.) Medical Center.
