North Valley Hospital names Kevin Abel CEO: 3 things to know

North Valley Hospital in Whitefish, Mont., selected Kevin Abel to serve as CEO, effective April 2, according to a Flathead Beacon report.

Here are three things to know:

1. Mr. Abel comes to North Valley Hospital from Lake Chelan (Wash.) Community Hospital and Clinics, where he was CEO.

2. He is equipped with more than 20 years of healthcare industry experience.

3. He will take over from Chris Thomas, who has served as interim CEO of the hospital since April 2017.
