North Carolina system taps nursing chief

Statesville, N.C.-based Iredell Health System has named Angela Ross, RN, BSN, chief nursing officer and vice president of nursing and patient care services.

Ms. Ross brings more than 25 years of healthcare leadership experience across inpatient, outpatient, trauma, emergency services and ambulatory surgery, according to an April 28 news release.

She most recently served as regional administrative director for the Wake County area at Charlotte, N.C.-based Advocate Health, where she led multisite surgical teams with an annual portfolio capacity of 25,000 cases.

Ms. Ross also previously served as administrator of SouthPark Surgery for Charlotte Eye, Ear, Nose & Throat Associates and held inpatient leadership roles at Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health and Gastonia, N.C.-based CaroMont Health.
