North Carolina hospital taps chief medical officer

Southport, N.C.-based Dosher Memorial Hospital named Mesha Chadwick, MD, as chief medical officer.

Dr. Chadwick most recently served as medical director for the regional transfer center and acute care operations at Wilmington N.C.-based Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center, according to a Nov. 8 news release. She worked as a hospitalist at Wilmington Health for almost 15 years and led the medical staff as president in 2020.
