NewYork-Presbyterian and Weill Cornell Medicine, both based in New York City, have appointed Angela Kadenhe-Chiweshe, MD, chief of the division of pediatric surgery.
Dr. Kadenhe-Chiweshe’s appointment was effective July 1, according to an Aug. 11 news release from NewYork-Presbyterian.
She will lead pediatric surgical services at NewYork-Presbyterian Komansky Children’s Hospital, and at Children’s Hospital of New York locations in the areas of Brooklyn, Lower Manhattan and Queens, the release said.
Dr. Kadenhe-Chiweshe joined NewYork-Presbyterian and Weill Cornell Medicine in 2019.
