New York hospital names emergency medicine chair

Maimonides Health has appointed Eitan Dickman, MD, as chair of emergency medicine, a role in which he will oversee operations for three emergency departments in Brooklyn.

Dr. Dickman has worked with the New York City-based health system for 17 years. Over the past year, he has served as interim chair of emergency medicine and led the launch of a standalone ED in Bay Ridge. 

As head of emergency medicine, Dr. Dickman will oversee additional service expansions, including the development of the first standalone pediatric ED in Brooklyn.
