Kathryn Willbarger has been appointed CEO of Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton, N.Y., effective May 26.
Ms. Willbarger most recently served as COO of Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, N.H., where she oversaw day-to-day operations for a $340 million health system, according to a March 25 hospital news release.
She has more than 20 years of leadership experience in hospital operations, financial stewardship and strategic growth. During her tenure at Cheshire Medical Center, she led efforts to improve patient access, expand clinical capacity and increase employee engagement and patient satisfaction. Ms. Willbarger also served as interim CEO, providing leadership during a transition period.
She will succeed Jeff Coakley, who announced his retirement in fall 2025.
Community Memorial is a 25-bed critical access hospital.
