Chris Emond has been named CFO of Los Alamos (N.M.) Medical Center, effective Aug. 10.
Mr. Emond has more than 30 years of experience in nonprofit, for-profit and government healthcare organizations, according to a July 14 news release.
Prior to his new role, Mr. Emond served as market assistant CFO for Pasco, Wash.-based Lourdes Health and Kennewick, Wash.-based Trios Health.
He also served as senior director of treasurer and controller for Pend Oreille County Public Hospital District No. 1 in Newport, Wash.
