New Mexico hospital names interim CEO

Amanda Shurtz, MSN, RN, was named interim CEO of Alta Vista Hospital in Las Vegas, N.M.

Ms. Shurtz brings 32 years of healthcare experience to the role, according to a July 30 hospital news release shared with Becker’s.

She succeeds Rob Nelson, who will return to his home in Mississippi, according to the release.

Alta Vista Hospital is a 54-bed facility.
