Here are four things to know about Mr. Gambrell.
1. In his role, he will oversee clinical operations and patient experience at Carolinas ContinueCARE Hospital at Pineville and Carolinas ContinueCARE Hospital at University, both in Charlotte, N.C., along with Carolinas ContinueCARE Hospital at Kings Mountain, according to a news release.
2. He most recently served in leadership jobs within Louisville, Ky.-based Kindred Healthcare, in the organization’s St. Louis and Indianapolis markets.
3. Mr. Gambrell also previously was operations manager at OrthoCraft in Atlanta.
4. He earned an MBA focused on healthcare administration, as well as a bachelor’s degree in hospitality administration/management from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro.
