Mr. Ainsley previously served as regional CEO of the East Hawaii Region of Hawaii Health Systems, based in Honolulu. He oversaw several hospitals and clinics — a total of 468 beds and 1,250 employees — in this role.
Morehead Memorial went under management of Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health July 1, ending its managerial relationship with Brentwood, Tenn.-based Quorum Health Resources, according to a Triad Business Journal report.
Dan Brinkman will replace Mr. Ainsley as interim regional CEO of Hawaii Health Systems, according to a Big Island Now report. He was previously regional COO with the system.
