Here are four things to know about Mr. Trexler.
1. He had been interim administrator of Acadia General since March 1.
2. Prior to joining Acadia General, Mr. Trexler was CEO of Cypress Pointe Surgical Hospital in Hammond, La.
3. In his new role, his main focus will be to bring financial stability to Acadia General, in addition to working with the medical community, he said in a prepared statement.
4. Mr. earned a bachelor’s degree in health information management, and master’s degrees in both healthcare administration and business administration from the University of Pittsburgh.
