Kearney (Neb.) Regional Medical Center selected Danny Van Ranken as CEO.
Mr. Van Ranken joined Kearney Regional Medical Center in 2014 as its first respiratory therapy manager, according to a Sept. 2 hospital news release shared with Becker’s. He became director of procedural services and corporate compliance officer in 2019, vice president of clinical and support services in 2022 and COO in 2024.
During his career, Mr. Van Ranken has overseen more than $80 million in clinic and hospital expansion projects over the last five years.
Mr. Van Ranken succeeds Scott Smith, MD, who has served as interim CEO since February.
Kearney Regional Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 118 staffed beds and is owned and operated by Bryan Health.
