Nancy Steiger to lead hospital services for PeaceHealth Columbia Network: 4 things to know

Nancy Steiger, RN, has been named president of hospital services for the PeaceHealth Columbia Network.

Here are four things to know about Ms. Steiger.

1. In her new role, she will lead hospital services for the network, which includes PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Wash., and PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center in Longview, Wash. She will also oversee systemwide community benefit and advocacy activities for Vancouver-based PeaceHealth.

2. She has been serving in an interim leadership role for the network since March.

3. Ms. Steiger was CEO of PeaceHealth's Northwest Network for eight years before overseeing ambulatory care for PeaceHealth and heading hospital services in Washington and Alaska.  

4. She also previously has held positions with San Mateo (Calif.) Medical Center and Santa Rosa (Calif.) Memorial Hospital.
