1. He will succeed Don Pounds, who is retiring at the end of the year.
2. He has been with Baptist for 23 years. He was CFO of Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis and Columbus, Miss.-based Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, and then served a stint as corporate system director of finance. In 2000, he was promoted to vice president of corporate finance.
3. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi in Oxford.
