Nacogdoches Memorial Health leader resigns; Gary Kendrick takes over as interim CEO: 5 notes

Nacogdoches (Texas) Memorial Health CEO Scott Street resigned, and Gary Kendrick has been named to lead the hospital on an interim basis.

1. Mr. Street resigned recently, after serving at the helm of the organization since 2014.

2. An emailed statement from the organization did specify the reason for Mr. Street’s departure.

3. Mr. Kendrick will take the reigns at Nacogdoches Memorial through the organization’s support services contract with Community Hospital Consulting, a division of Community Hospital Corp., based in Plano, Texas.

4. Most recently, Mr. Kendrick served as interim CEO at Morehouse General Hospital, Bastrop, La., also through CHC.

5. Additionally, prior to Mr. Street’s appointment as CEO, Mr. Kendrick was leading Nacogdoches Memorial Health as interim CEO.
