Charleston, S.C.-based MUSC Health named Jason Cox CEO of its Pee Dee Division in Florence, S.C.
Mr. Cox will lead MUSC Health Florence Medical Center, MUSC Health Marion Medical Center in Mullins, S.C., MUSC Health Black River Medical Center in Cades, S.C., and the MUSC Health Jean and Hugh K. Leatherman Behavioral Care Pavilion in Florence, according to a Sept. 22 health system news release.
Mr. Cox has been with MUSC Health for five years, most recently as interim CEO and previously as COO of the Pee Dee Division.
Before joining MUSC Health, Mr. Cox served as COO of UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, N.C., and president and CEO of Chestatee Regional Hospital in Dahlonega, Ga. He has more than two decades of healthcare leadership experience.
