Mount St. Mary’s Hospital CEO Gary Tucker to retire

Gary Tucker, president and CEO of Mount St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston, N.Y., is retiring in October, according to a Lockport Journal report.

Mr. Tucker joined Mount St. Mary’s in 2006 as interim COO. He became president and CEO of the hospital in 2015, when it joined Buffalo, N.Y.-based Catholic Health.

During his tenure, he oversaw the growth of physician practices and led the development of the Center for Women.

Mr. Tucker previously ran his own healthcare consulting firm based in Glendale, Ariz.

C.J. Urlaub will become president of Mount St. Mary’s Hospital as part of his responsibilities as senior vice president of strategic partnerships, integration and care delivery-Niagara County for Catholic Health.
