Most recently, Mr. Lamb served as the western division president at Franklin, Tenn.-based IASIS Healthcare, where he was responsible for operations in Utah, Nevada, Arizona and Colorado. Prior to that, he served as president/CEO of the Corpus Christi (Texas) Medical Center.
Mr. Lamb currently serves as a member of the Utah Hospital Association board and was a member of Alaska State Hospital and Nursing Home Association’s board.
Mr. Lamb will take over from Roger Spoelman, interim president and CEO of the system.

I’m looking forward to a seamless transition over the next few months, and I’m confident that I’m leaving Mount Carmel in the best of hands,” said Mr. Spoelman in a statement.
