Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital names Ann Marie Madden CNO

The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, N.C., tapped Ann Marie Madden, DNP, RN, to serve as vice president for patient care services and CNO.

Most recently, Ms. Madden served as CNO at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus in Falls Church, Va., an 833-bed Level I trauma center.

Her previous roles include serving as assistant vice president of nursing operations and chief nurse executive for the MedStar Heart and Vascular Institute at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. Early on in her career, she was a bedside nurse and served as a supervisor for different clinical departments, such as medical-surgical and emergency.

Ms. Madden earned her doctorate from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
