New Port Richey, Fla.-based Morton Plant North Bay Hospital appointed John Haffner, MD, director of physician services, according to a Tampa Bay Times report.

Morton Plant North Bay Hospital is a part of Clearwater, Fla.-based BayCare Health System.

1. Dr. Haffner previously served as medical director of the pediatric intensive care unit at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Tampa, Fla.

2. He was also a pediatric intensive care physician at Tampa General Hospital.

3. He completed his fellowship training at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
