Peter Johnson’s appointment as CIO comes just weeks after the hospital lost access to its computer system for four days due to a failed network upgrade, according to the report.

Mr. Johnson is taking over the role following the retirement of CIO Nancy Barisano. Previously, he was at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H. During his 25 years there, Mr. Johnson led several IT projects, including the implementation of Epic software.
