Joplin, Mo.-based Freeman Health System has named Christina Clifford system director of revenue cycle.

Ms. Clifford rejoins the system where she began her career, according to a March 30 news release. She served as Freeman’s patient accounts support coordinator from 2007 to 2015.

In her return to Freeman, Ms. Clifford will oversee the entire financial process, from patient scheduling and insurance verification to final payment collection.

“[Freeman] is where I first discovered my passion for healthcare revenue-cycle operations and improvement,” she said in the release. “Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to lead teams across multiple health systems and physician groups, focusing on technical billing, workflow optimization and compliance. Returning to Freeman feels meaningful and full circle. I’m grateful for the chance to bring my experience back to an organization that serves the community I care deeply about.”
