Elizabeth Kennedy, PhD, has been appointed interim president of St. Joseph, Mo.-based Mosaic Life Care Foundation, effective Sept. 1.
She will succeed Julie Gaddie, who resigned June 29, a health system spokesperson confirmed to Becker’s.
Dr. Kennedy has served on both the system and the foundation’s board of trustees, according to a July 20 internal memo from Mosaic Life Care CEO Mike Poore that was shared with Becker’s. She most recently served as president of Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, a role she stepped into in 2021.
Mosaic Life Care operates four hospitals in Missouri and clinics in Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa.
