Missouri health system appoints strategy chief

St. Luke’s Hospital in Chesterfield, Mo., has named Scott Johnson as its chief strategy officer, effective March 13.

Mr. Johnson joins the two-hospital, independent health system from Irving, Texas-based Christus Health, where he most recently served as group vice president of strategy and business development.

Before his time with Christus, Mr. Johnson held leadership positions with health systems in Tennessee and Kentucky in strategy and business development, marketing and public relations.

Mr. Johnson joins the St. Luke’s  executive team led by President and CEO Andrew Bagnall, who assumed the role in August 2022 from Hospital Sisters Health System Wisconsin.
