1. Mr. Dawson came to Mission Regional from Brentwood, Tenn.-based Quorum Healthcare Corp. and Quorum Health Resources, operators of acute care hospitals and outpatient centers.
2. He was previously CEO at a physician-owned health system with Texas-based facilities in Dallas, El Paso and San Antonio.
3. He also held leadership roles at Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare.
4. He holds an MBA degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion.
