Here are four things to know about Ms. Griffin.
1. Ms. Griffin, an attorney and registered nurse, has more than 14 years of legal and compliance experience.
2. In her new role, Ms. Griffin will take on responsibility for the MiraMed corporate compliance program, and will work with other company representatives and board members “to identify, propose and implement enhancements to the management and monitor risk, compliance and privacy protections,” among other duties, according to a news release.
3. Previously, she served as chief clinical operations officer and chief compliance officer and privacy officer at Irvine, Calif.-based ConcertoHealth, which offers specialized primary care and supporting clinical services.
4. Ms. Griffin received certification in healthcare compliance from the Health Care Compliance Association.
