Ms. Henderson has served as the independent, nonprofit health system’s interim president and CEO since Sept. 11.

The organization’s board of directors decided to offer her the job permanently “because of her experience and passion for healthcare, knowledge of the GRH market and community, her senior leadership experience and level of energy and enthusiasm,” Glencoe Regional said in a news release.

Ms. Henderson joined Glencoe Regional in 1991.  She’s also served as CNO, director of social services and RN case manager.
