Milford Regional president to become CEO

Edward J. Kelly, president of Milford (Mass.) Regional Medical Center, will add CEO to his title Jan 1, 2016.

Mr. Kelly has 30 years of experience in healthcare. He has served at several Massachusetts hospitals, including senior leadership roles at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham and Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick, and in managerial roles at Leonard Morse, St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Brighton, and Beth Israel Hospital in Boston.

After joining Milford Regional as CFO in 1993, he was promoted to executive vice president in 1998. In 2008, Mr. Kelly became president of the hospital.

Mr. Kelly will take over the role from Francis M. Saba who is retiring after having led the hospital as president and CEO since 1990.
