Michael McBride named regional leader of Ascension St. John

St. Louis-based Ascension appointed Michael McBride regional president and COO at Ascension St. John in Tulsa, Okla., according to a Greater Baton Rouge Business report.

Mr. McBride was previously president and CEO of Baton Rouge, La.-based Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System. The health system ousted Mr. McBride in March.

His previous experience includes serving as senior vice president and president of suburban hospitals at CHI St. Luke’s Health in Houston.

In his new role, Mr. McBride will oversee the seven hospitals and more than 90 healthcare clinics that comprise Ascension St. John.
