Michael Caligiuri, MD. Director of the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center and CEO of Ohio State’s James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute (Columbus). In addition to his roles as director and CEO, Dr. Caligiuri is also the John L. Marakas Nationwide Insurance Enterprise Foundation chair in cancer research. He is a professor in the Ohio State University College of Medicine’s department of internal medicine and department of molecular virology, immunology and medical genetics. Before joining the Ohio State University in 1997, he worked at Buffalo, N.Y.-based Roswell Park Cancer Institute, where he began as an assistant professor. Dr. Caligiuri is on the board of the American Society of Hematology and is president-elect of the American Association of Cancer Research, where he’ll begin his term in 2017.
