MetroHealth appoints chief physician executive, chief people officer

MetroHealth named Richard Blinkhorn, MD, executive vice president and chief physician executive, and Dalph Watson, JD, executive vice president and chief people officer.

Dr. Blinkhorn will step into his role immediately and lead the system’s clinical and provider enterprise, according to a June 22 system news release. He will oversee department chairs, clinical institute directors and the academic enterprise. 

Ms. Watson, who will join the team July 24, will lead the systems people and human resources division. She will oversee all human resources functions, including employee engagement and experience, diversity and inclusion, workforce development, workplace safety and recruitment.
