Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare taps new chief legal officer

Memphis, Tenn.-based Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare appointed Monica Wharton chief legal officer.

Ms. Wharton previously served as chief legal officer at Memphis-based Regional One Health, a role she held for nearly a decade. Prior to that, she was the principal attorney and general counsel for Regional One Health. She came to Regional One after working as an attorney with Glankler Brown.

Ms. Wharton is a member of the Health Law Executive Council of the Tennessee Bar Association and the Healthcare Roundtable for General Counsel. At Methodist Le Bonheur, she succeeds Lynn Field, who retired after 23 years with the organization.
