Dr. Lydiatt, who is also chairman of the surgery department at Methodist, joined the medical staff in 1996. An oncologist focusing on head and neck cancers, he played a key role in the growth of the head and neck program at Methodist and its Estabrook Cancer Center..
He will continue seeing patients at the cancer center while serving as CMO.
Dr. Lydiatt completed a fellowship in head and neck oncologic surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City and earned an executive MBA from Denver-based University of Colorado.
