Methodist Healthcare System CEO Jaime Wesolowski to retire

Jaime Wesolowski, president and CEO of San Antonio-based Methodist Healthcare System, is retiring, according to a San Antonio Business Journal report.

Mr. Wesolowski has led the nine-facility system since 2007. He spearheaded numerous deals during his tenure, including the acquisition of South Texas Regional Medical Center in Jourdanton, Texas, last year. Prior to joining Methodist Healthcare, he was CEO of Riverside (Calif.) Community Hospital.

Mr. Wesolowski will remain in his position until the health system selects his successor. A search is already underway.
