Methodist Health System names Karla Ramberger 1st chief nursing executive

Dallas-based Methodist Health System appointed Karla Ramberger, MSN, RN, the health system’s first full-time senior vice president and chief nursing executive. She has been with Methodist for more than 22 years.

Most recently, Ms. Ramberger served as the vice president of nursing/CNO for Methodist Dallas Medical Center, a position she was named to in 2011. As chief nursing executive of the health system, she will focus on standardizing nursing practices across the system. She is also in the process of earning a doctor of nursing practice degree at Rush University in Chicago.

Methodist named Barbara Madden, MSN, BSN, to replace Ms. Ramberger as vice president of nursing/CNO for Methodist Dallas Medical Center. Most recently, Ms. Madden served as a director of nursing at Methodist Dallas.
