Mr. Fraser has served at the helm of the health system since 2007, prior to which he was CEO of Omaha-based Methodist Hospital. During his tenure at the hospital, he was instrumental in the development of Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center and Methodist HealthWest, both based in Omaha. The hospital was also Nebraska’s first to be awarded Magnet status by the American Nurses Association Nurses Credentialing Center.
Current Methodist Hospital President and CEO Steve Goeser will succeed Mr. Fraser as leader of the system. He will serve as the system’s executive vice president and COO, in addition to his current roles, through the end of the year, according to the report.
