Meridian Health names president for Jersey Shore University Medical Center

Jackson, N.J.-based Meridian Health system has named Kenneth N. Sable, MD, president of Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune City, N.J.

As president, Dr. Sable will assume lead administrative responsibility for the 658-bed independent academic medical center, part of Meridian Health.

Most recently, Dr. Sable served as executive vice president and COO of Saint Peter’s Healthcare System in New Brunswick, N.J. Before that, he was vice chairman for operations in the emergency department at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
