MercyOne Centerville (Iowa) Medical Center named Matthew Johnson, DPT, president, effective April 16, according to a Daily Iowegian report.

1. Dr. Johnson comes to MercyOne Centerville Medical Center from Cherokee (Iowa) Regional Medical Center, where he was president and CEO.

2. He is a U.S. Army veteran.

3. He is the permanent successor to Clint Christianson, who retired in August 2018.
