Mercy Catholic Medical Center names Christopher Cullom president

Mercy Catholic Medical Center, with campuses in Philadelphia and Darby, Pa., has selected Christopher Cullom to serve as president, effective Aug. 12.

Mr. Cullom previously was assistant executive director at the University of Pennsylvania Health System/Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He has also worked at Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare and Gainesville-based University of Florida Health.

He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration and an MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

In his new role, Mr. Cullom will oversee operations at Mercy Catholic Medical Center-Mercy Fitzgerald Campus in Darby and Mercy Catholic Medical Center-Mercy Philadelphia Campus. He succeeds Sue Cusack, who is retiring.

Mercy Catholic Medical Center is a part of Conshohocken, Pa.-based Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic.
