Sarah Matlin was appointed senior vice president and chief strategy officer at Memorial Health, based in Springfield, Ill.
Ms. Matlin brings a wealth of experience to the role, according to a Jan. 26 health system news release.
She is the founder and CEO of OKTO Strategic Advisory, a healthcare-focused advisory firm. She previously served as chief strategy officer at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, an independent health system based in Edgewood, Ky.
At Memorial Health — which includes five hospitals, primary and urgent care clinics, behavioral health and home health services — she will help guide the organization’s strategic direction, according to the release.
