Medical Center of South Arkansas names Scott Street CEO: 4 notes

Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado selected Scott M. Street to serve as CEO, effective Oct. 30, according to an El Dorado News-Times report.

Here are four notes:

1. Mr. Street most recently served as CEO of Nacogdoches (Texas) Memorial Health.

2. He also previously served in management roles at hospitals in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas.

3. He earned his master’s degree in healthcare administration from University of Missouri in Columbia.

4. He succeeds Robert Rupp, who resigned for a job at a hospital outside of El Dorado.
